The rules for using Body Recode, written so you can actually read them.
Body Recode is software for coaches and gyms. It reads how ready a client’s body is, and the coach decides what to do about it. These terms say who is responsible for what: what Body Recode does and doesn’t do, what coaches and clubs agree to, and what clients can expect.
By using Body Recode, you agree to them. How we look after your information is in our privacy policy.
It explains. It does not prescribe.
Body Recode reads what a client tells it about their sleep, stress, training, eating and hormonal change, and writes a readiness report: how ready their body is right now, what is holding it back most, and what to go easy on. It drafts a reply to each weekly check-in, and a new report every 12 weeks.
It follows a written method drawn from published research, and the software enforces its safety rules. It is not a general-purpose AI.
It does not write workouts, meal plans or supplement plans for coaches’ clients. The coach does.
It is not medical advice. It does not diagnose or treat anything and is no substitute for a doctor. If an answer means a client should see their GP, the report says so and stops there until they have.
You stay in charge of your clients. Body Recode gives you the reading; the coaching is yours.
By using Body Recode, you agree to:
Your clients stay your clients. We do not coach them, and we do not contact them about anything else. While you are new to Body Recode, we read your first few reports before they are sent, to check they are right.
Pilots and fees
If you are part of a pilot, the terms agreed with you for the pilot apply. Any fee will be agreed with you in writing before it applies.
Your coach invited you, your coach reads everything before you see it, and your coach writes your plan.
To get the most from it, and to stay safe:
You can stop at any time. Tell your coach, or email us.
We do not promise a particular result.
A report shows what is in the way. What happens next depends on the plan, the coaching and the person.
Your information is yours. The software and the method are ours.
The questionnaire, the design and wording of the reports, the method behind them and the software belong to Body Recode. Coaches and clubs may use them with their own clients while they use Body Recode, and not otherwise.
Anyone can stop at any time. We will step in if clients are put at risk.
A coach or club can stop using Body Recode whenever they choose. We may suspend or close an account that puts clients at risk, misuses their information or breaks these terms. What happens to records afterwards is set out in our privacy policy.
Training carries some risk. Everyone is responsible for training within their limits.
To the extent the law allows, Body Recode is not liable for injury, illness or loss arising from training, eating, or any plan a coach writes. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
When the software changes, these terms change with it. The latest version is always here, with the date it changed.
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
